Proverbs 1:8-9

Prayer: Lord, I pray that our garlands and pendants tell a larger story not just of “Look at them they’re so pretty/Look at them they have it all together. God is really blessing them” God, our pendants and our garlands come after years of being unadorned. Help those who see us in our “raised” places know and understand that the raised place was not the goal, but the benefit. And Lord, help us continue moving towards goals not benefits. Lord, I guess what I’m trying to say is that we need You to help us be like You so much so that after we are made righteous, just, good, fair, kind, keen and loving we have no plans to parade around in our benefits but wish to extend benefits to others. Lord, give us giving hearts. Give us the wisdom enough to know that our loving and giving is garland and pendant enough. Thank You Lord for painstakingly teaching us Your statutes. We are forever grateful for You. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
